Grow a garden filled with the vibrant Pink Surprise Calendula, using freshly harvested Calendula officinalis flower seeds. These striking flowers will produce 2.5-inch, bright orange blooms with delicate pink undertones, complemented by their attractive foliage. The leaves are oblong and lance-shaped, and each Pink Surprise Calendula plant will reach a mature height of approximately 12 to 18 inches.

The blooms of the Pink Surprise Calendula consist of rows of evenly spaced petals, creating a captivating zinnia-like formation. Categorized as an annual flowering plant, Pink Surprise will grow quickly from the fresh flower seeds, displaying a profusion of blooms throughout the summer months, only to die back with the first killing frost of the season. However, if you collect the seeds from your Pink Surprise Calendula, you can establish new plants the following spring. Furthermore, Calendula plants are known to readily self-seed, with the seeds falling to the ground beneath the plants.
