From the brand Seed Needs, meet the owner! I started Seed Needs at just 15 to bring my family closer, to retire my father, to employ friends, and most importantly, to help people. Seed Needs offers a wide range of both culinary and medicinal herb seeds, including basil, chives, cilantro, rosemary, lavender, and chamomile. We also offer all the popular heirloom vegetable favorites, from carrots and cabbage to lettuce, radish, tomatoes, kale, beets, and turnips.
Seed Needs originally started as a username for an online marketplace. We discovered Amazon in 2010 and soon after established a brand, selling our products to millions of happy customers over the past decade. What makes our products unique? We absolutely love art and not only provide quality seeds, but beautiful packaging as well. You'll be sure to smile when you receive your order!
With the success of Seed Needs, we have been able to grow our sponsorships from just 1 kid to over 100 kids each month. We're very humbled to help those in need! It all started with Reina, the first child I sponsored in 2010. More than a decade later, Seed Needs now sponsors over 100 kids each and every month.
We continually donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital each and every month, and we also choose to donate to ASPCA monthly. It is always an honor to support these important causes.
Our Honey Bee Wildflower Blend is a specially crafted blend of adaptable, annual, and perennial flowers that are specifically tailored to provide nectar and pollen for honey bees throughout the entire season. This product has been developed over many years of research to ensure its effectiveness in providing fuel for honey bee health. The mix can be used in any cultivated area such as garden beds, borders, or landscaped areas. Not only does it provide rich nutrition for our beloved honey bees, but it also adds brilliant pops of color that will bring beauty to any outdoor space!
Whether you're a passionate beekeeper looking to increase your yield or simply striving for greater bee-friendly practices on your property, this wildflower blend is ideal for all types of homes, gardens, and businesses alike. The wildflowers within this mixture will attract all sorts of native pollinators to the garden, and it is specifically picked for bumblebees and honeybees to thrive.
When purchasing our seeds, always use a nutrient-rich black dirt to give the seeds a boost in growth. Water the seeds and seedlings daily with a light water setting so that the soil doesn't dry out. The seeds will take at least 1-2 weeks to sprout, and after they start to grow, the plants will later flower after 8+ weeks. Be patient and watch them grow!
At Seed Needs, we are committed to providing the highest quality products and service to our customers. All seeds packaged by Seed Needs are intended for the current and the following growing seasons, and are stored in a temperature-controlled facility that is free of significant amounts of moisture. Our seed packets offer generous quantities, and each packet displays a beautiful illustration of the variety to be grown, as well as detailed seed sowing information on the reverse side. We also promise to never knowingly supply GMO-based seed products, with the vast majority of our seeds being open-pollinated and heirloom, with the exception of a few hybrids.
